Matt Perman is a speaker, author and the former Director of Strategy for Desiring God. His blog is one of my favorites for leadership principles, marketplace theology and practical, biblical teaching on productivity and organization. When I think of Matt, I think of someone who can teach us how to be productive without losing our souls.
Now he’s about to release a book called What’s Best Next: How The Gospel Transforms The Way You Get Things Done, on April 9. I’m looking forward to getting this resource on productivity from a gospel-centered perspective. Matt’s tips are spot-on because he grounds them in the proper motivation behind productivity: serving others, to the glory of God.
And I’m even more looking forward to Matt speaking at SojournWork’s Engage@Work forum on Saturday, April 14 at Sojourn New Albany. For only $10 you’ll get breakfast and the benefit of hearing Matt teach about fruitful leadership in the workplace, and how this view is foundational to all productive work. See his own preview about what he’s going to teach us here.
It’s from 8am to noon. For many of you, this is also a good first-chance to visit our New Albany campus. So check it out, and let’s give Matt Perman a big Sojourn welcome as he teaches us what God has to say about our work life. Register here. The first 50 to register will receive a 40% off voucher for Matt’s book, What’s Best Next.
